Proudly made in the U.S.A., this anodized aluminium alloy bracelet is an exact replica of the Rearden Metal Bracelet worn by Taylor Schilling (Dagny Taggart - Part I), Rebecca Wisocky (Lillian Rearden - Part I) and Samantha Mathis (Dagny Taggart - Part II) in Atlas Shrugged Parts I & II.

I bought one for my wife over a year ago, and bought two more for gifts this year for other family members. My wife loves hers, but only wears it with "matching" tops - apparently meaning blue or black. She has a better eye for that than I do, I guess. So far she hasn't had much problem with the clasp, but I can see where it could be a problem.

I had been watching this bracelet since it first went up on the site. I missed the 2012 Black Friday deal and kept my fingers crossed that another deal was to be had for 2013 Black Friday. I held my breath all year long, fortunately, it was not in vain.
This bracelet is soooo stunningly beautiful that I wish I could wear it 24/7. I have small wrists and was afraid that the 7 1/2" might just be too big. Happily, I am able to wear the bracelet very comfortably. The clasp feels secure and takes a little bit of coordination to get used to. It's a bit like playing a game trying to insert the straight part into the sphere with one hand.
I am soo glad for the deal this year because without it I would never have been able to afford such a gorgeous bracelet. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Atlas Shrugged!!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter.....It looks beautiful just like the one Taylor and Samantha wore...I think she is going to love it....Shipping was a lot faster than I was expecting...Got it in about 1 week, not bad for having it shipped to Canada.

My wife and I watched the movie around the time of our anniversary. After seeing the movie, I thought that it would be a cool gift. It was! The only downside was that the clasp is a little clumsy to connect. Disconnecting is easy. Shipping was within a week, so no complaints there. Thanks!

My wife absolutely loved it. Any women that's watched the show will love it. My only complaint was the slow shipping. It was close to 3 weeks after purchase confirmation for it to arrive. But my wife would say it was worth the wait.

Infinitely more interesting (and affordable) than diamonds and very comfortable to wear.
After all the comments out here about the clasp, i was expecting it to be a magnet in the middle of the sphere, but it is a plunger that goes into the sphere. Interesting, secure and a little practice needed to get it on your own wrist. It was possible however. Very well crafted and presented in a beautiful box. If you give this as a gift to someone who knows the book, I can't see how you can miss!

I just got it today (7/10/2013), and it looks great! I was worried about the proportions. I am very short and have to be careful with large, bulky bracelets, but this one is slim and proportioned so that it even works on me. :) I was also worried that the quality wouldn't look as good as in the movie, but it does.
I had read enough negativity about the clasp, that I was prepared for a struggle, but honestly it didn't take me but a few minutes to figure it out. And, I love the way the ball clasp looks in contrast to the metal links, so please don't change it. Or on second thought, do if you want. It will only make mine go up in value as a collectible (wink, wink). Maybe because I'm used to putting on bracelets by myself, it wasn't that difficult. Just squeeze the tabs on the bottom piece. Let the top piece fall in ALL THE WAY, and then let go of the tabs in the bottom piece. If you can learn how to use a lash curler without pinching your eyelids or fasten a bra from the back, you can learn how to use this clasp!

A lot of people stare at it and compliment it. I wish they knew the meaning behind it though

I just received this bracelet and I absolutely LOVE it! I thought it would be heavier but I'm very glad it's not. It fit's perfectly and I've already had several compliments on it. I would recommend this piece to anyone who likes Atlas Shrugged or fine jewelery.

I love this piece of jewelery and it is now my daily wear bracelet! I like the clasp with the wings, it's pretty secure. I wish more people understood what it stands for, but it has definitely been a conversation piece that has gotten lots of people interested in the book and what the bracelet stands for.
